Argentinian DJ and producer Greta Meier steps into our Prima Lux mix series with a refined and emotionally charged journey that mirrors everything she stands for as an artist.
Known for her ability to build long-form narratives through sound, Greta’s approach is rooted in subtle progression, deep harmonic detail and an unmistakable sense of flow. Her Prima Lux mix unfolds patiently, balancing hypnotic movement with delicate melodic moments, and drawing the listener into a continuous, immersive experience rather than a sequence of standalone tracks. It’s a set that speaks directly to her identity: elegant, introspective and quietly powerful.
The mix arrives in celebration of her brand new EP ‘Painting In The Sky’, a collaboration with Rauschhaus, out now on Hicky & Kalo’s Plaisirs Sonores Records. The release is further expanded by remixes from Gai Barone and Kamilo Sanclemente & Jossem, bringing additional depth and perspective to an already expressive original statement.
‘Painting In The Sky’ captures the same emotional language heard throughout this Prima Lux session. Built on deep and delicate harmonies, evolving grooves and a strong sense of atmosphere, the EP reflects Greta’s ability to communicate feeling through restraint and detail, rather than obvious peak-time gestures.
Based in Argentina, Greta Meier has quickly established herself as one of the most promising new voices in progressive house. She has already shared the booth with artists such as ARTBAT, John Digweed, Hernán Cattaneo, Guy J, Franky Wah, Nora En Pure, Colyn and Guy Mantzur, steadily shaping her reputation for musical sensitivity and refined storytelling on the dancefloor.
Her Prima Lux mix offers a clear snapshot of that vision, a sublime, carefully guided journey designed to be experienced from start to finish, and a fitting companion to the release of ‘Painting In The Sky’ on Plaisirs Sonores Records.
