London-based Iranian artist Amirali has carved out a distinctive place in electronic music over the past decade. Rooted in classical piano training, his sound has always carried a depth and emotional weight that sets him apart from his peers. After an exploratory period that led to his critically acclaimed second album, he has refocused his energy on the dancefloor, and the results speak for themselves.
His new EP ‘Radiance’ on Dubfire’s SCI+TEC is a clear statement of intent. The title track, which we are premiering today, fuses Amirali’s classical piano sensibilities with bold, driving progressive elements, crafting something that feels both intimate and club-ready. There is a warmth to the melody that contrasts beautifully with the muscular, forward-pushing energy beneath it. The EP’s second track, ‘Two Horizons Collide’, takes a contrasting approach, inhabiting a darker dystopian atmosphere laced with an undercurrent of transformation and hope.
SCI+TEC, the iconic label founded by Dubfire, has long stood at the forefront of techno and progressive music, consistently championing artists who bring something genuinely unique to the table. Amirali fits that description perfectly. With recent acclaim from Solomun and Gerd Janson, and new releases lined up on Diynamic and CORE, he enters 2026 with real momentum behind him.
You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Radiance’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
