Melody Of The Soul continues to make its mark on the deep house landscape, this time welcoming two of Australia’s most thoughtful electronic music artists: Jamie Stevens and Zankee Gulati. Their two-track ‘Running EP’ is a powerful statement that combines emotive storytelling with a raw, club-ready drive.

Jamie Stevens is one of the most celebrated figures in Australian electronic music. A founding member of the ARIA award-winning trio Infusion, he has spent over two decades honing a sound that bridges emotional depth and dancefloor function. His productions have appeared on iconic labels including All Day I Dream, Balance Music, Replug and microCastle, earning him a devoted following across the globe.

Zankee Gulati is a Sydney-based producer who has been shaping Australia’s underground scene since 2011. With releases on The Soundgarden, Balance Music and Plattenbank, his music is defined by a moody, hypnotic quality that draws listeners deep into its rhythms. Together with Jamie Stevens, he brings a complementary vision to this collaborative project.

The premiere track, ‘Ruthless’, lives up to its name. It moves with a relentless groove, built around intricate percussion and emotional undertones that speak to the strengths both artists bring to the studio. It is a track that works equally well in an intimate listening session as it does on the dancefloor.
