Lucile Cordova steps onto Rave The Planet with ‘Closer’, her contribution to Future Prints Vol. 2, the second installment of the Berlin-rooted compilation series curated by label manager Tomasz Guiddo alongside Dr. Motte. The volume gathers exclusive cuts from across the global techno community, ranging from raw underground territory to pumping tech house, and Lucile’s track plants its flag firmly on the rawer, more hypnotic end of that spectrum.

‘Closer’ is built around a pulsing, acid-tinged bassline and the kind of relentless, kick-driven momentum Lucile Cordova has become known for. Sharp percussive details and modulated vocal stabs weave in and out of the groove, locking the listener into a tight, late-night trance that rewards full immersion on a loud system. It is a track designed to draw the room together, exactly as the title suggests.

A Montpellier-based DJ and producer, Lucile Cordova has built her name in the South of France with raw, acid-powered selections and high-energy live performances at venues and festivals such as Dieze Warehouse and I Love Techno. Rave The Planet, the Berlin non-profit organization behind the recognition of techno culture as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and the rebirth of the Loveparade spirit through its annual parade, continues its mission to preserve and amplify electronic music culture worldwide. Every purchase of Future Prints Vol. 2 directly supports that work and the cultural initiatives that keep the scene moving forward.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Closer’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
