Yaffa Records rolls into the new year with ‘Move It’, a fresh release from label co-founder Oi that arrives with a strong cast of remixers in tow. Today we are focusing on the No Static version, a sleek, stripped-back take that locks into the groove and keeps the pressure steady from the first bar.

The original track is rooted in psychedelic house and rolls forward on elastic bass, crisp drums and lead lines that keep everything in motion without ever forcing the moment. It is the kind of cut that settles dancers in early and stays with them deep into the night. Alongside the No Static remix, the package is rounded out by Mosko, who leans into the track’s trippier edges with a heavier sense of tension, Mentesh, who brings extra drive and lift for darker floors, and AVIV BENS, who delivers a sharp, fluid take made for the late-night stretch. Across all five cuts, ‘Move It’ keeps its identity intact: rolling, psychedelic and made for dancers who like their house music with a little bite.

On his rework, No Static trades density for space and pulse. The New York based producer has built a loyal following through a run of edits and original tracks that pair club-focused energy with a proper sense of craft, and that same instinct shapes his take here. He tightens the drums, sharpens the groove and lets the psychedelic elements simmer underneath, shaping a version that feels ready for peak time moments without ever losing its hypnotic core.

Yaffa Records was founded by Oi and Mosko in loving memory of Yaffa, the mother of Tel Aviv producer Omer Inbar. Built on rhythm and rooted in memory, the label has quickly carved out a distinctive identity by putting story-led electronic music at the centre of everything it does. Releases from Oi, Mosko and invited collaborators have shaped a consistent sound that blends psychedelic textures, rolling grooves and real emotion, and ‘Move It’ fits neatly into that world.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Move It (No Static Remix)’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
