Croatian electronic music pioneer Petar Dundov lands on Move Recordings with a stunning remix of Dimitri Andreas’ ‘Cambolisa’, taken from the Belgian artist’s new release ‘Pelican’. Stretching the original’s melodic payoff into an emotional and atmospheric journey, Dundov builds his version around a steady, hypnotic groove, layering shimmering synth lines and slowly evolving textures that rise and fall with real patience. It is a remix that rewards deep listening as much as it works on a late night dance floor.
‘Pelican’ marks Dimitri Andreas’ return to the dance floor after several years spent working on theatre productions, immersive audio experiences and multidisciplinary art projects. Across five original productions, including the title track, ‘Omenica’, ‘Mahu’, ‘Cambolisa’ and ‘Ember’, he distills the elements that have long defined his sound: hypnotic grooves, organic percussion, tribal influences and rich atmospheres. The package is completed by three heavyweight remixes, with Deetron and Extrawelt both reworking ‘Pelican’ alongside Dundov’s take on ‘Cambolisa’.
Based in Zagreb, Petar Dundov has been shaping electronic music since the early 1990s and is widely respected for his long form, melodic productions built on analog and modular synthesis. His acclaimed albums on Belgian label Music Man Records helped establish him as one of the most distinctive voices in melodic techno, and his remix work remains in high demand across the scene. Dimitri Andreas, meanwhile, is a respected figure of the Belgian underground whose previous Move Recordings releases have been supported by Sven Väth, Timo Maas, Jamie Jones and Fedele.
Originally established in the 2000s, Move Recordings is a Belgian vinyl and digital label run by End-Jy. After more than a decade of silence, the imprint was relaunched in 2025 alongside Igor Vicente, with a vision that balances underground heritage with fresh, forward thinking electronic music. ‘Pelican’, catalogued as MV09, stands as one of its most ambitious releases to date.
