Argentinian producer JFR lands on Musique de Lune with a stirring remix of Hole Box’s ‘Deep Inside’, taken from the Mexican artist’s new EP of the same name, out October 8th, 2026. After three years away from the label, Hole Box returns with a release that showcases his signature organic, groovy sound, enriched with glitchy vocal elements and warm textures.
The ‘Deep Inside’ EP gathers three original cuts, ‘Deep Inside’, ‘Dina’ and ‘And You’, with the title track standing out through its beautiful vocal performance. Two remixes complete the pack: JFR’s take on ‘Deep Inside’, and a reworking of ‘Dina’ by Jim Rider, who brings his distinctive groove and experience while keeping the essence of the original intact.
For his remix, JFR pulls the track into deeper progressive house territory. Powerful, raw synthesizers rise around the original’s emotive vocal, while a more driving rhythm section gives the record a hypnotic forward momentum built for those late-night, eyes-closed moments on the dancefloor. It is a remix that respects the soul of the original while pushing it somewhere new.
Based in Buenos Aires, JFR has become one of Argentina’s most compelling melodic voices, with releases on revered imprints such as All Day I Dream and Anjunadeep, alongside running his own label, Secret Feelings. Hole Box, the alternate project of Querétaro-based producer Ivan Flores, was born in 2014 from a love of deep and progressive house, with melody always at the core of his productions. He has since appeared on labels including Tale & Tone, Akbal Music, Animo Recordings and, of course, Musique de Lune.
Musique de Lune continues to shine a light on the melodic side of electronic music with releases on both digital and vinyl, alongside its darker sister imprint Musique de Lune Noire. Arriving as MDL53, ‘Deep Inside’ adds another moonlit chapter to the label’s growing discography.
