Premiere: Phil Kieran – Debris [Turbo Recordings]

2 March 2016

Belfast producer Phil Kieran continues a bright start to 2016 with a return to Tiga’s illustrious Turbo Recordings. The Northern Irish artist has put together an aptly titled ‘Bomb’ EP and you can check an exclusive snippet with us today on When We Dip.

‘Debris’ is a rolling tech cut with a breakbeat edge. It’s filled from the inside with a wavering melody that instantly captures the ears of the listener. Accompanied by a warm bass-line of the same pattern, the track builds beat on beat taking one to the promise land. It evokes a real elation with the climax filled by distant string patterns, reflecting impressive sound placement from the former Cocoon and Hot Flush man.  The release comes ahead of an appearance on Jimmy Edgars label ULTRAMAJIC as part of Metaphysix IV due early April. It looks like 2016 will be a fruitful year for Kieran. We’re looking forward to more new music from the producer already!

Release date set for March, 2016.
