Montreal’s Ancient Future festival welcomes  XXYYXX, Kerri Chandler, Scuba, Tokimonsta, N’to, Worakls, Joachim Pastor, Randomer, Project Pablo, Van Did and more to the city’s old port on the weekend of September 9 and 10, once more taking over the inimitable Hangar 16 and the accompanying stretch along the St. Laurent river.

Ancient Future 2016 is the second edition of the festival, which was launched in 2015 by Paris-born, Montreal-based collective la Bacchanale. The group, who have previously brought the likes of Jeff Mills, Rodhad, Ben Klock and Recondite to the city, specialise in creating unique experiences in electronic music. Ancient Future 2016 is sure to be one of the most intriguing events in electronic music to hit the region his year.
