30 December 2016

2016, it’s been a blast but it’s now time to say goodbye! With one last collection for this year from the Weekend Weapons Chart, we present you the best new cuts in association with our buddies at Traxsource – the house of modern house music. Closing out the year on point are Makanan, Lessovsky, Lex & Wood, Michael De Hey and more. Check it!

WWD Wildcard Selection:

5. Lex & Wood – Dnce [Great Stuff]

Montreal-based duo Lex & Wood kick things off. They drive us with a tasty deep house cut! Thick bass-line and a stomping kick-drum! Enjoy 😃

4. Makanan – Ten & Ten [Defined Music]

Filled with jackin’ hats and a bouncy tech house bass-line, Makanan provides a dynamite track that will surely will get the disco jumpin’.

3. Lessovsky – Placebo (Original Mix) [PPmusic]

Blending a deeper vibe with melodies and a heavy bass-line, this jam is meant to be played early in the morning!

2. Jorge Elizondo, Benjamin Marveille – Mako (Original Mix) [Allure Records]

“Mako” is the very first release of Allure Records, takin’ you on a musical journey through a hypnotic synth pad and a rolling bass-line. Sit tight and enjoy the ride.

1. Michel de Hey – Sounds Of Life [Nite Grooves]

Grabbin’ the number one spot of our wildcard selection this week it’s veteran dutch Dj and producer Michel de Hey. A drivin’ cut tinted with emotive elements.
