30 June 2017

You see this plate of fresh cuts right under your nose? Of course you do, don’t be shy, treat yourself there’s enough for everybody 🙂 It’s Friday night and once again we’ve teamed up with the home of modern house music: Traxsource to gather for you the hottest jams out there. Our wildcard selection this week features acts like Local Options, Tatsu and Fisher just to named a few…

WWD Wildcard Selection

5. Local Options – Drive & Wing [Large Music]

The Chicago boys return to the Large Music imprint with a 4-tracker. We feel the Chicago sound influence for this one.

4. VRRS – Happy Hour (Original Mix) [Manucci’s Mistress]

The mysterious VRRS is back in action! After releasing on Defected the producer showcases once again all his talent. A house bomb!

3. Frank & Tony – Procession (Original Mix) [Scissor & Thread]

After a little production hiatus, the duo demonstrates their undeniable ability to craft dancefloor vibes. The A-side of the wax ‘’Procession’’ features this hypnotic percussive groove. Enjoy!

2. Guri, Tatsu – Aplication (Original Mix) [Frigo Vide Records]

When Guri and Tatsu spend some time in the studio you know they’re cooking something for the books! ‘’Application’’ is a cut that’s earned the WWD seal of approval.

1. Fisher – Ya Kidding (Original Mix) [Dirtybird]

Sitting on top of our wildcard selection this week, it’s the former pro surfer from Sydney, Fisher, makin’ his debut on well-known imprint ‘’DirtyBird’’. With his killer vocal snippet and groovy baseline ‘’Ya Kidding’’ wil certainly generates big waves in discos around the world.
