Desert Hearts Reveals Spring 2019 Festival Lineup

Seven years since the renegade inception of Desert Hearts Festival in the Mojave it has become a bonafide movement that draws thousands of dance floor aficionados from around the globe to experience its three pillars of House, Techno, and Love.

The magical 80 hour marathon will once again return to Los Coyotes Indian Reservation to create its cultural oasis of total festival freedom. It is here that fans can unleash their inner child, unplug, and bond on a singular dance floor soundtracked by a wide array of world class selectors. Today, 2019’s slate of talent has officially been unveiled.

Desert Hearts has kept to its steadfast ethos of balancing hometown heroes with cutting edge talent from around the globe for its upcoming iteration. On the latter end, Life & Death founder DJ Tennis will be making a storied debut on the famed stage this year, providing a set pumped with deep, eclectic cuts and mystical house and techno. Likewise, Axel Boman will be bringing his leftfield expertise to the table. Synth wizard Rodriguez Jr. will be returning to the reservation four years after his inaugural Spring 2015 performance.

Fuse resident Archie Hamilton is another notable name on the bill. A rarity in the states, he’ll be bringing his soulful house sounds to the weekend for what’s sure to be an unforgettable showing. DJ T, Doc Martin, Andreas Henneberg, Cut Snake, and El Row’s De La Swing b2b Tony Varga are just a few additional house music legends rounding out this 80 hour session. Rinzen, who’s blazed a path in the underground world with his cinematic, melodic techno sounds, will be making his debut at the festival after having been a fan for years.

Plenty of local favorites are also set to join the Desert Hearts crew this year. Burning Man staples Atish and Tara Brooks will be completing their annual trek out to Los Coyotes, and SHADED, Will Clarke, and Desert Hearts family members Lubelski, Rybo, and Evan Casey will be taking over the decks to showcase the future sound of house and techno.

It remains Desert Hearts’ founders and celebrated DJ crew who make for some of the weekend’s most memorable. Fans can expect Mikey Lion’s showcasing of the Desert Hearts Records catalogue and forthcoming cuts, Lee Reynolds’ unpredictable sonic voyages across genres and decades, Marbs’ dive into the deeper shades of techno, and Porky’s calculated trips through house music history.

A dedicated fan base is what makes the Desert Hearts a truly special occasion. With radical inclusion and participation at its core, colorful characters can be spotted throughout the weekend interacting with artists and hosting fashion shows, wine & cheese parties, and more on the dance floor throughout the weekend. Theme camps like Pile Palace, Savage Hearts, and more provide quirky hang out spots throughout the venue to explore. Not many can say they’ve played Connect Four with a DJ while he was spinning his set, taken a nap at the Pile Palace at all hours of the day, or been served sushi by a fellow festival-goer during the wee hours of Monday morning. It’s these little things, paired with the Desert Heart crew’s infectious loving energy and a purposefully intimate venue, that keep supporters coming back year after year.
