It’s no secret we’re big fans of Darius Syrossian here at WWD. He quite possibly could be our most featured artist in the past 18 months and he’s getting another one now for his latest release out now on Get Physical!

That silky Syrossian touch has been put to use against a cracking Fabio Giannelli original, ‘Lost In 27’, and continuing his strong string of form his remix is once again top notch. The remix featured as the concluding track of his recent essential mix and it breaks down with evocative piano chords before returning to a sublime groove which he has yet again managed to perfect in a production.

The breakdown in this Lost In 27 remix reminds us of Dusky’s Mr.Man, a track which Darius actually played at Sankeys during that essential mix recording, resulting in him admittedly coming to an emotional realisation of how far his DJ career had brought him. However, is production career is becoming just as illustrious and long may it continue!
