Born and raised in Beirut Lebanon, Hrag Mikkel and Pambouk interpreted and recreated the culture that surrounds them, translating it into a harmony of melodies and emotions.Inspired by our musical background and life stories, ‘Araqil EP’, out on Armen Miran’s label Hoomidaas, is an emotional journey that reflects the true nature of existence. It’s a selection of phases in our lives that show the light and darkness within us and the challenges that we overcame through our beliefs and experiences. ‘Araqil’ is a bird that represents our search for home, flying miles away hoping to find and build the perfect nest. A nest that is far from rejections and cruelty.
