Labyrinth: the London party starters that have been making heads turn in the capital since 2017. From E1 to The Steelyard, the crew have hosted sell-out takeovers in some of the UK’s most iconic venues, welcoming the likes of Gerd Janson, Fort Romeau, Pional and a myriad of other talents in recent times.

Now, the Labyrinth saga takes the form of a new incarnation: Labyrinth Records. The recently-launched label has been inaugurated by Cédric Sheva, a little-known French artist whose sound fits far beyond his years. Wrap your ears around this one below.

Tour D’Vélo takes the form of a feel-good club cut, striking a poignant chord thanks to upbeat piano tones and emotive chords throughout. Cédric’s musical signature comes through in the tempo: a pumping 129 BPM that excites and delights in equal measure, whilst pulses of acid march on in the background.

Overall – a stellar opening salvo for a label that’s still in its infancy. Let the Labyrinth saga continue.
