Having heard this track for the first time on Annie Mac’s Radio One show on Friday, I knew straight away it was large. The addictive sound of the hi hats, the steady claps, the groovy bassline, the mixed vocals, the tantalizing breakdown and the explosive return of that beat all come together to create one heck of a punchy track with serious old school vibes. It just oozes quality!
The EP also comes with a second track. ‘Relax Your Mind’ features on the B-Side and after a nice steady build up, the track breaks into an impressive blend of house and garage. Its another great production and ensures that the EP is packed to the brim with salacious sounds and is certainly worthy of Moda Black’s 10th release.
After last summer’s remarkable release Must Be You, I thought it would be hard for this young London producer to recreate something of the same standard, however with the release of ‘Thought As Much’ he has managed to surpass all expectations by an absolute country mile. Thought As Much is one of my tracks of 2013 so far and this EP confirms that Celsius is one to keep a close eye on. He certainly lives up to his name and brings the heat, this one’s hot!! It’s out now on Moda Black.
