Cesare vs Disorder is an esteemed producer who’s well-known for his analog style of stripped back house, breakbeat, and minimal, and his new release comes via Canadian label Suleiman.

Originally from Italy but currently based in Brazil, his respected back catalogue includes tracks and remixes on Ninja Tune/Big Dada, Cocoon, BPitch Control, Transmat, Crosstown Rebels and Watergate Records to name a few.

With much of his recent output focused towards vinyl, his music has become something of a connoisseur’s choice, being a popular DJ booking who’s known for having impeccable taste as a selector.

He is also a talented composer of music for film and TV, fusing those cinematic elements with dance floor focused percussion and funk-fuelled basslines to create distinctive tracks that are brimming with personality.

‘Automatic Window’ is defined by its two-step groove and UK garage inspired bassline that’s got a heavy sub-bass and brooding intensity, which is augmented with atmospheric vocal textures.

‘Just A Couple Hrs’ has a squelching acid bassline blended with a bleeping melody and an array of trippy textures layered with the gliding tones of a dystopian pad.

‘Peruibe’ is a downtempo experimental track that’s got dubby textures washed in delay and dreamy melodies reminiscent of others such as Nathan Fake.

‘Shanghai – São Paulo’ has shuffling rhythms and a strong offbeat hi-hat, which provides the framework for an eerie flute sound that develops an underlying tension perfect for the dance floor.
