Rinzen is an electronic artist from Los Angeles seeking to build entire worlds with his music. Dedicated to the pursuit of wonder, Rinzen combines cinematic sound design and forward-thinking techno production to create something that is downright awe-inspiring. His work has graced Last Night On Earth, Bedrock, Oddity, and here on Desert Hearts Black, as well as him remixing some very high-profile names including deadmau5 and Giorgio Moroder.

The title track ‘Passive Aggressive Robot’ is a real stomper, full of dark energy, as the bassline and solid kick really make their mark. Twisted noises meet spoken vocals as this freight train of a track rolls along, powering though with a real force.

‘The Dark Arts’ is a melancholic peak timer, with beautiful and haunting melodies gracing us, as the punchy groove sets the tone. Dark meets light as the track ebbs and flows with its tight vibes and infectious flavors.
