Darius Syrossian & DJ Sneak go way back, & this collab came about when Sneak sent Darius a voice note on Whatsapp about sending a new batch of productions. Syrossian decided to sample the voice note and make a track from it. Todd Edwards then subsequently heard this track and wanted to remix it. The end result is Moxy Muzik once again leading from the front with a new VA that features three of the most notable artists in the underground.

Syrossian has long been a contemporary tastemaker with a hardcore fan base that appreciates his no nonsense style, fad free tracks and irresistibly solid house grooves. DJ Sneak is of course an early genre pioneer and celebrated House Gangster who has a similarly chunky and effective style famous for its expertly designed loops and smart filters.

Together the mighty pair cook up ‘Big Bizness,’ a timeless track with heavy house drums and fat bass. It makes for a muscular groove that is topped with 90s style melodies that dart about the mix over drums that are dusty, deep and tinged with hints of US garage. It’s a cut that cannot fail to make a mark.

Remixer Todd Edwards pioneered the early garage sound and has been a legend ever since. His masterful remix is a bouncing and swinging garage house cut with his signature chopped up vocal stabs and bright, feel good chords.

The super stacked ‘Sonar VA’ is sure to be Moxy Muzik’s biggest release to date.
