Following the announcement of a transformative reawakening on the horizon, The BPM Festival Costa Rica has revealed the highly anticipated phase one lineup for its 4th edition in Costa Rica. Set to unfold from January 8-12th, 2025, the festival will debut at a breathtaking new 20-acre venue in Playa Avellanas, offering an immersive journey through house and techno’s diverse landscape.

The phase one lineup showcases BPM’s commitment to its house roots while embracing a fresh direction. Headlining the announcement are Ukrainian techno titans ARTBAT, Swiss melodic maestros Adriatique, and British house music royalty CAMELPHAT. Making their BPM Costa Rica debut are Âme (DJ set), and the mystical RY X (DJ set). Returning favorites include Latin-house icon HUGEL, the energy-filled Francis Mercier, and Ibiza mainstay Steve Lawler. The lineup also features rising stars like Apache and FNX Omar, promising a swirling mix of sounds for attendees.

Live performance enthusiasts will be treated to sets from rising French multi-talent Adissiya, the legendary Cobblestone Jazz, modular wizard Mathew Jonson, and the emotive Rodriguez Jr., as well as returning act Sainte Vie and BPM Festival newcomer WAHM, who will bring their unique blend of rock and electronic sounds to the jungle.

The phase one lineup is enhanced by a fantastic mix of local and international talent. Costa Rican artists like María Wabe and Van Der Hansz will showcase the vibrant local scene. The festival will also feature up-and-coming artists from major electronic music hubs, including Sydney Blu and Carerra & Tavares from Toronto. Sean Doron from Tel Aviv, Emanuel Satie from Frankfurt, and Maga from France will come together for a special “Scenarios” B2B2B performance. Looking ahead to phase two, attendees can expect even more top-tier talent from New York, Miami, and LA, cementing The BPM Festival’s status as a global gathering of the underground music community.

The musical programming will be spread across multiple stages, including two nighttime jungle stages in Playa Avellanas and daytime beach parties at Tabu and Chiquita’s in the festival’s original home base of Tamarindo. The new setting promises an unparalleled day-to-night experience set against Costa Rica’s stunning sunsets and lush landscapes.

As The BPM Festival continues to craft unique activations and plan spontaneous pop-up events, the excitement for this monumental gathering reaches new heights. Early bird tickets are now available for purchase, with various options for multi-day passes. For those looking to elevate their BPM experience, the festival has partnered with high-end hotels and is implementing efficient transportation plans to ensure a seamless journey for all attendees.
