Mumbai Records releases its 35th installment ‘Delirio María,’ a hypnotic collaboration between Alex Medina and Alani, two artists who have achieved a unique fusion within the electronic music world. This EP presents two exceptional tracks: ‘Delirio’ and ‘María Bird,’ each showcasing an original approach that blends elements of various electronic styles.

The track ‘Delirio’ is a journey that stands out for its hypnotic vocals, which captivate you from the very first second. Over a foundation of carefully selected electronic rhythms, the piece plays with layers of synthesizers and a wide variety of drums, giving it a rich and immersive rhythmic texture. Alex Medina and Alani mix styles like deep house, house, and techno, creating an atmosphere that shifts between introspective and energetic. The vocals in ‘Delirio’ not only grab attention but also blend seamlessly with the rhythmic progression, crafting an immersive experience.

On the other hand, ‘María Bird’ offers a different yet equally captivating dynamic. This second track maintains the essence of magnetic vocals, but here the rhythmic base explores more eclectic ground, combining elements of melodic techno and tribal. The variety of synthesis in this track is a strong point, giving rise to an organic groove that perfectly blends with the electronic landscapes. ‘María Bird’ stands out for its enveloping energy, balancing the experimental with the accessible, featuring a sound design that resonates both on the dance floor and in more intimate listening sessions.

‘Delirio María’ is an EP that pushes the boundaries of conventional electronic music, showcasing Alex Medina and Alani’s ability to explore different textures and styles while maintaining a cohesion and fluidity that is hard to ignore.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Delirio’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
