Industry bastion Mark Knight has been on somewhat of a run of late following the release last month of the highly anticipated techno EP Suzee alongside one of our faves Adrian Hour and now with the release of Ironing Man.

The new EP which was released via Toolroom Records this week certainly packs a punch. The title track the peculiarly named Ironing Man. While still retaining that trademark MK sound, it raises the tempo considerably with an upbeat pumper that will certainly be a favourite of djs and clubbers over the next few months. Utilizing a clever vocal sample alongside a driving bass it’s one of the most vibrant tracks to grace our promo box in over the past few months.

It is perhaps Feel Good Now which will take the plaudits in the long term, this is a track for the djs, a club pumper designed for the dancefloor. The more intense side of the EP, this lends further credence to the fact that Knight is pushing in the firm direction of techno.
