Beatport chart topper Fauxplay teams up with world renowned underground DJ Anthony Pappa as they call on singer/songwriter Leo Wood (Anjunadeep, Defected, Crosstown Rebels) to perform on a very special release called ‘See Me’, and released on Music To Die For.
There are three mixes of ‘See Me’ on offer here. The main club mix is a deep and chunky progressive house journey offering dreamy trancey melodies, hypnotic arps & plucks, soaring pads, heart-stopping vocals and futuristic soundscapes scattered with dancefloor ready effects.
It first aired at Balance Festival Croatia in the closing show by Dave Seaman & Anthony Pappa and set a huge buzz going chasing down track IDs. It comes paired with a different but just as potent alternative ‘Raptus’ mix which is a brooding ingenius flip on the track with its breakbeat infusions forming a backbone to emotionally charged, uplifting chord progressions and ethereal attention grabbing vocals; venturing into more boroad electronica territory and possessing real hairs on the neck rising prowess. The EP is completed with Waterfall; a B-side cut which is a lighter outing that masterfully traverses melodic house and progressive trance styles.
