‘Falling Into Acid Dreams’ sees Lens return to the nucleus of her sound: fast, precise, high-impact techno built for full-body immersion. Driven by a tightly wound 303 line that gradually intensifies, the track locks into a rolling, hypnotic groove before her instantly recognisable vocal cuts through the mix. Crisp percussion and razor-sharp low-end control make this a focused, peak-time weapon engineered for dark rooms and main stages alike.
The milestone marks a full-circle moment. By 2016 Lens had already built a growing reputation as one of the most formidable selectors on the underground. That year she introduced her debut three-track EP, ‘Exhale,’ on Italian imprint Lyase Recordings – an early statement that captured the intensity of Belgium’s underground scene. Ten years later, that name has evolved into EXHALE: a globally recognised label, event series and community platform that now stands at the forefront of contemporary techno. Now, her tenth anniversary release lands on the very imprint that grew from that first spark.
Amelie says: “I can’t believe it’s been 10 years of releasing music. Ten years of learning, falling, rising, believing and dreaming with you guys on the dance floor. I hope you feel the energy you’ve given me through all these years when you listen to ‘Falling into Acid Dreams.’ Proud and happy to share this moment with the world on my home base EXHALE. Thank you for dancing with me all this time. This is for you 💕”
