Julia Sandstorm has continued her rapid ascent in 2026. From Mixmag’s Tulum showcase at Vagalume and Brazil’s SOM Festival to New York’s 99 Scott and London’s KOKO, she has been captivating audiences worldwide with a sound that is both diverse and consistently high in energy.
Emerging from the Burning Man circuit, Sandstorm built her reputation playing for renowned camps including Long Feng, Maxa, and Pink Mammoth, before moving into releases on labels such as LP Giobbi’s Yes Yes Yes and New York institution Nervous Records.
Her dynamic blend of electronic music has since taken her to some of the world’s most respected stages, from Pacha Ibiza to Red Rocks in Colorado.
That momentum continues into the year ahead, with upcoming appearances alongside Chris Stussy and Seth Troxler at Yard Festival in Lisbon on May 22, a return to UNVRS in Ibiza, and a debut for Day Trip in Los Angeles.
This week, she delivers an exclusive mix that reflects her deep-rooted love of disco, paired with the energy and flair that have become her calling card.
“Disco has always been something I love to play when the moment feels right. This mix blends a bit of Italo disco, some fun remixes, and plenty of classic, straight-up disco. It’s the first all-disco mix that I’ve actually put out. Hope you enjoy the ride.” – Julia Sandstorm
