Patrick Topping continues his return to the summit of the tech house scene, with the ‘Love Me’ EP,  released on Capriati’s Metamorfosi imprint. The release follows on from Topping’s club hit ‘All The DJs,’ which dropped on Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves imprint back in November and more recently, his debut EP on Cloonee’s Hellbent Label (Beatport Tech House No.1 release).

It feels like a full-circle moment for Topping. A defining force in UK club culture over the past decade, Topping built his name on a sound that balanced groove, grit, and character, records designed for the club, not algorithms. ‘Love Me’ sees him reconnect with the raw energy that first set him apart.

The title track combines a sleek groove, a signature bass-line and deft vocal touches for what is a real Summer track with Ibiza flavour. With Topping already confirmed for dates this Summer at Pacha, DC10 (Solid Grooves), UNVRS (Paradise), and Metamorfosi (Amnesia), he looks set for a stellar season on the White Island.

On the B-side, ‘Here We Go’ leans deeper into the club. Tougher, more stripped-back, and locked into a rolling groove, it trades melody for pressure. Echoing rap vocals cut through crisp percussion and a weighty bassline, creating a track that feels engineered for late-night moments when the dancefloor is fully dialled in.

The ‘Love Me’ EP is available here.
