Music is 4 Lovers turn the spotlight on resident artist SAAND with a heavy remix package built around his single ‘Los Angeles’, and Audiojack’s contribution stands tall as one of the EP’s most magnetic moments. The UK duo lean into their trademark blend of warm low end weight, swung percussion and subtle textural detail, transforming the original into a hypnotic, late night cut that feels both rooted in classic house tradition and shaped by their long love of garage and minimal grooves. It is a deep, club-focused interpretation that places the listener inside that golden hour between peak time and the slow morning fade.

The release sits as part of a wider remix package, with Francesca Lombardo and Mihai Popoviciu also reshaping ‘Los Angeles’ alongside Audiojack. SAAND, a long-standing MI4L resident based in Los Angeles, has built a distinct catalogue across labels like Tierra Sounds and VIBRAS, with a sound rooted in rhythm, soul and a strong sense of place. The original of ‘Los Angeles’ provides plenty of fertile ground for the remixers, each pulling the track in a different direction.

Audiojack are the UK duo of Richard Burkinshaw and James Rial, whose two-decade run has produced releases for Crosstown Rebels, 2020Vision, 8bit, Dirtybird and their own Gruuv label. Their journey, anchored by influential records like ‘Robot’, ‘Turya’, ‘Reverie’ and ‘Inside My Head’ and the albums Radio and Surface Tension, has shaped them into one of the most consistent forces in modern house and minimal. With their new label Audiojack Music marking 20 years of the project in 2026, this remix arrives during a real creative high for the duo.

Music is 4 Lovers, founded in San Diego, has grown into a full ecosystem of label, magazine, event series and apparel brand, all dedicated to independent dance music. Their curation continues to balance trusted residents like SAAND with respected names from the wider scene, and bringing in Audiojack for this remix package highlights the kind of taste-making that has made them a key platform for thoughtful, dancefloor-driven house.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Los Angeles (Audiojack Remix)’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
