Chicago-based producer Medivms joins forces with American DJ, producer and singer/songwriter ARi for ‘Desire’, a striking new release out on Frequenza Records, the long-running imprint helmed by Italian artist Nihil Young.

‘Desire’ captures everything that has come to define both artists in recent years. From Medivms’s side, the track carries that signature blend of dark melodic tension, hypnotic grooves and cinematic atmosphere that has earned him a place within the modern electronic landscape, with recent appearances on Polyptych Noir, Sync Forward and LFTD Global. ARi brings her unmistakable touch to the collaboration, drawing on her love of early 2000s trance and progressive house to add emotive weight and a sense of widescreen energy to the production. The result is a single that feels equally at home in a peak-time underground room and on a sun-drenched festival stage.
