Located in Montréal’s Griffintown neighborhood, Café Social B Hive is a community-focused café co-founded by Montreal DJ and producer Jares. Inspired by the concept of the “third place,” the project was created as a social space centered around quality coffee, music, and community.

Music plays a central role in the identity of Café Social B Hive. The café hosts a curated program of DJs and selectors throughout the week, spanning house, organic grooves, downtempo, and other electronic sounds. A dedicated hi-fi listening setup featuring vintage Klipsch speakers is also part of the experience.

Beyond its musical programming, Café Social B Hive aims to serve as a meeting point for Montréal’s music and creative communities. Planned activities include artist meetups, talks, album release events, listening sessions, and gatherings for dancers and music enthusiasts. The menu combines specialty coffee and classic cocktails with a selection of Lebanese specialties. Blending elements of café culture, music programming, and community events, Café Social B Hive offers a distinctive addition to Montréal’s cultural landscape.
