Few artists have risen through the melodic house and techno world with the kind of momentum Brina Knauss carries into the summer of 2026. The Slovenian born, Milan based DJ and producer has spent the past decade shaping a sound built on transcendent vocals, sweeping melodies and hypnotic grooves, and today we are thrilled to premiere ‘Dreams’, a standout cut from her brand new EP ‘Take Me Higher’.

Released via EMPATH, the imprint Brina launched in 2023 as a home for her most personal output, ‘Take Me Higher’ is a three track journey that leans deeper into the emotional, vocal led space she has been refining across her recent sets. The EP opens with the driving, hypnotic tension of ‘No Sacrifice’, closes with the euphoric, peak time energy of its title track, and at its heart sits ‘Dreams’.

‘Dreams’ shifts into a more introspective space, weaving softer melodic elements into a steady, rolling groove. It is a track built for those late night and open air moments where the dancefloor breathes, with Brina’s signature warmth guiding every layer. The result feels both intimate and expansive, a reminder of why her productions have become such a recognisable part of the modern melodic landscape.

The release arrives during a remarkable run for Brina, whose 2026 schedule reads like a map of the scene’s most respected stages. Upcoming appearances at Horse Park Festival in Zurich, Lofi Amsterdam, Akumandra Festival in New York, Audioriver Festival in Poland and Tomorrowland in Belgium sit alongside marquee Ibiza dates at Ushuaïa, UNVRS, Resistance at Amnesia and Hï Ibiza. ‘Take Me Higher’ reflects that momentum, connecting her studio work directly to some of the biggest rooms in electronic music.

EMPATH continues to grow as a vehicle for that vision, a label rooted in the belief that music can bridge gaps and foster genuine connection. With ‘Dreams’, Brina once again proves how naturally her emotional, dancefloor ready style translates from the booth to the studio.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Dreams’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
