The foundation is a deep, rolling kick drum, the kind that sits low in the chest rather than up in the ears, wrapped in crisp and deliberately understated hi-hats. Gabey describes the track in almost physical terms, framing it as something that will make you surrender when played loud, pulling you into its rolling kick drums until you abdicate most of your senses. Gabey is a Montréal based artist working across colour and sound, giving form to the unseen and voice to the untold, and the visual sensibility carries directly into his production.
