Synthesis Recordings marks its ninth release with ‘Expressions Vol.1,’ a compilation showcasing five distinct voices from Argentina’s thriving progressive house scene. United by a shared focus on melodic storytelling and dancefloor functionality, each track offers its own unique perspective, emotion, and sonic identity.

Opening the compilation, Luca Abayan, Abity & Andy Frangi blur the line between nature and electronic music on ‘Space Frogs,’ weaving field recordings captured in El Durazno into an atmospheric, uplifting progressive journey rich in organic detail. Camilo Verna follows with ‘Reloaded,’ a futuristic, groove-driven cut fueled by dark atmospheres, powerful rhythms, and peak-time energy.

Evegrem & Tirso Enriquez continue with ‘Outlast,’ combining rolling basslines, evolving atmospheres, and textured synth work into a driving, tension-building journey. NEØRN’s ‘You Must Lose To Gain’ explores resilience and transformation through emotive melodies, cinematic arrangements, and steadily unfolding progressive rhythms. Closing the release, Ramiro Alvarez & Ignacio Hernández deliver ‘Silent Method,’ a deep, hypnotic production built around delayed arpeggios, subtle glitch vocals, and an immersive late-night groove.

Together, these five tracks highlight the diversity of modern progressive house, balancing organic textures, cinematic depth, hypnotic grooves, and dancefloor intensity while reflecting the forward-thinking vision of Synthesis Recordings.
