Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Odette makes her debut on Enzo Siragusa’s LOCUS imprint with ‘Impressive Rhyme’, a four-track EP that captures the energy and versatility she has built over more than a decade in the scene. Today, we are thrilled to share the title track.

A constant presence within the Dutch house landscape, Odette has released music on labels such as MicroHertz, DENSER, NEED and TBX Limited, while also steering her own VDK label. Her sets move freely between minimal, house and techno, and have taken her to respected Dutch spaces like BRET, Shelter and Toffler, earning her a solid reputation both behind the decks and in the studio.

Leading the EP, ‘Impressive Rhyme’ draws on heavy speed garage influences, with punchy kicks and a rolling low end that locks you in from the very first bar. Elsewhere, ‘Left To Right’ brings a dose of throwback deep house flavour, ‘Glory’ plays with lighter, playful textures and squelchy acid touches, and ‘Simplify’ closes the record in darker, hypnotic territory. Together, the four cuts show her talent for balancing classic influences with a fresh edge.

Launched in 2020 by Enzo Siragusa and the team behind the iconic FUSE brand, LOCUS has become a home for groove-driven, forward-thinking sounds from rising names and established artists alike, and Odette fits perfectly within that vision.
