TERR and Daniel Watts are back on their own imprint Twist + Turn with ‘Everyday OK’, the fourth release on the label and another strong chapter in a musical partnership that stretches back more than twenty years.

Built on the foundations of classic ’90s house and tech house, ‘Everyday OK’ pairs gritty electronic textures and a rolling, hypnotic groove with spoken vocals. The lyrics read like pages from a diary of modern life, reflecting on the mechanisation of everyday existence and the routines that quietly shape the way we live today. It is a club track with something to say, one that hits just as hard at peak time as it does in your headphones on the way home.

TERR is the project of Daniela Caldellas, the Brazilian DJ and producer who grew up in Belo Horizonte before calling Barcelona, Berlin and Marseille home. After cutting her teeth playing guitar in punk bands, she fell deep into analog synths and studio experimentation, releasing on labels like Hotflush, Permanent Vacation, Correspondant and Phantasy, which put out her debut album ‘Consciousness As A State Of Matter’. Daniel Watts is her longtime partner in sound: the pair met in the 2000s as members of the electronic collective Digitaria and later co-founded the label Clash Lion together.

Twist + Turn is their newest venture, a home for twisted sounds and frequencies. Since debuting with ‘Drama’, the label has been focused on music that works both in the club and at home, the kind of records that make you stop on the dancefloor and ask what is playing.
