Berlin-based, Oslo-born DJ and producer Beth Lydi returns to Plump Records with ‘You Know I Really’, a bold new single landing on October 9th, 2026. Known for a sound that sits somewhere between techno and tech house, deep and bassy yet fresh, vivid and happy, Beth delivers a cut that is built for the sweatiest moments of the night.

‘You Know I Really’ is a lesson in restraint and groove. Driven by a churning bassline and raw, gritty synths, the track rolls forward with confidence, every element placed with purpose and nothing added just for the sake of it. Playful touches pop in and out of the mix, keeping things cheeky while the low end does the heavy lifting. Speaking about the release, Beth explains: “In this track it was important to me to keep each element intentional and playful, but not overdoing anything. Every element speaks for itself, no need for any nonsense. As always a vital part of the track to me is the churning bassline and raw synths.”

Her alias comes from the Norwegian words “lyd i”, meaning “sound in” or “volume within”, a fitting name for an artist famous for making plenty of noise. Raised on violin and piano in Oslo, Beth followed her curiosity around the globe before settling in Berlin, where she co-runs SNOE, works in artist management and booking, and tours as a DJ at clubs and festivals worldwide, including sets at the city’s beloved Sisyphos.

Plump Records, the Berlin imprint founded by Kevin Knapp and Hutchtastic, lives by a simple motto: Keep it Big. Keep it Sexy. Keep it Plump. Beth is no stranger to the label, having delivered ‘One Girl Orchestra’ as its fourth release, and ‘You Know I Really’ (PLUMP024) marks a welcome return to the family with a bass-heavy weapon that fits the label’s ethos perfectly.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘You Know I Really’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
