Dublin City Block Party Set For August Bank Holiday

When We Dip
Events, Ireland
18 June 2014

Life, Bodytonic and Hidden Agenda are determined to make this Irish summer an unforgettable one for music lovers. They’ve just announced another highly impressive event; Dublin City Block Party. Located on the Tivoli grounds, the one day (1pm-11pm) special will bring together a diverse range of international and local talent. Anyone who witnessed the scenes at the recent Larry Levan Street Party hosted by Redbull in New York will most certainly be tempted by this offering.  House legend & Mad Tech Chief Kerri Chandler tops the bill, he’ll be accompanied by Dj Harvey, who is returning to Dublin for his first show in 20 years, and DJ Kormace, who’ll be rinsing a 90’s themed hip-hop set.

Toejam will be charged with party starting in Hell’s Kitchen & The Garden, the exclusive food & drinks area, and there’ll also be performances from Subject DJs, Sim Simma, The R’n’B Club and Irish Hip-Hop up & comer Marcus Damascus. The promoters have also promised that more is to be announced in the coming weeks. Lastly, the huge outdoor area will be decked out with hot tubes, basketball, ping pong, an arcade and fancy dress facilities. Without doubt one of the standout events of the summer for us, we recommend gettin’ on down!

Early Birds €19.50 until this Friday at 9pm : http://bit.ly/1i7A5Tb
