Subject Welcomes Yet Another Berghain Resident To The Pepper

18 November 2014

It would seem that the Subject crew sat down on one sunny day in 2010 and said ‘Why don’t we just go and book all the finest Berghain regulars?’. Since then, they’ve brought us Marcel Dettmann, nd_Baumecker, Prosumer, Steffi, Martyn, Shed, Move D, Surgeon, Norman Nodge… you’d be all night listing them off. It’s really great to see such exquisite talent being brought to Dublin so often. Generally speaking, we’ve been having a good run for the last year and more but Subject were on form way ahead of everyone else. Is this lickarsery? Maybe. Anyway, this Friday, they’ll prepare to welcome Marcel Fengler to Dublin for the third time and we can’t wait.

Fengler has been a resident of the famed club since its infancy. Like everyone else who became a part of the roster, he has shot to techno stardom off the back of it. He boasts releases on the likes of Ostgut Ton, Mote Evolver, Arts, Perc Trax and Skudge Records to name but a few and you should expect to hear his heavy hitting and thoroughly Berghain style. When someone like Fengler comes to town, it’s something you should sell your granny to go to if you’re broke.

Ireland’s own Niall Cleary will be on warm up duties for the night.

Check out all the info on the RA event page and just for good measure you can check out Fengler’s recent mix for Red Bull below.
