Ian O’Donovan Makes Drumcode Return

Marcus
Ireland, Techno
1 August 2016

There’s nothing quite like the techno that emerges from the studio of Irishman Ian O’Donovan. His cultured production skills have graced the likes of Bedrock, Intec and Drumcode with increasing regularity of late, garnering widespread plaudits.

Following his release of The Border from Beyer’s much loved Drumcode last year O’Donovan has returned to the techno bastion for what can only be described as a showstopper of a track in The Crucible. Incorporating one of his trademark melodies, packed full of suspense and euphoria the track also posses a tough underbelly, the perfect fit for Beyer’s stable. With widespread support from all sides including Beyer himself (he closed his Movement Detroit set with it), this one looks set to further build the Irishman’s already stellar reputation.

It’s out now on Drumcode as part of their ‘A Side series’.
