Following the release of his debut album last month, Israeli born but Berlin based Moscoman has been all over our radar with the debut effort. To make sure you’re aware of who he and ESP Institute are, we were provided with five essential tracks chosen by the man himself to give you a taster of the renowned imprint.

Young Marco – “Video Days” [Video Days, 2012]

“The intro to Marco’s brain, how I love this dream pop house, with the african groove.”

Pharaohs ‎– “Island Time” [Island Time, 2013]

“Who knows what have become of them, I still play it every set, that banana vocal and thriving percussions?”

Tornado Wallace ‎– “Circadia” [Circadia, 2014]

“Big Lewie, The Aussie dreamboat, a pure sailing at every play.”

Ian Blevins – “Hannibal” [Hannibal, 2015]

“Probably the best landing bassline I’ve heard in a long time, useful whenever you want to change the climate in every room.”

Sombrero Galaxy – Journey To The Centre Of The Sun (Stallions Remix) [Journey To The Centre Of The Sun, 2010]

“I Love Jonny Nash, Andrew Lovefingers, and Doug Lee, don’t need theres any more needed to say about this amazing piece of work.”

Moscoman’s ‘A Shot In The Light’ was released via ESP Institute in September. You can check out the album in full below, courtesy of Crack Mag, or if you’re lucky enough to be in Amsterdam for ADE this week, you can see him DJ at the DJ Harvey & ESP Institute event or play live with his band at the Fest & XXX show, which includes a whole host of other great talents on the bill.
