It was about time another gem from Claptone’s precious ‘Charmer’ got visited by one or two relevant names of the scene. This time, one of the most higlhy anticipated singles from the album released back in 2015. When We Dip turns the spolights to a name that’s definitely not new to our regular readers, who’s just delivered one of the best remixes since music from ‘Charmer’ started getting reworked. San Francisco talent Justin Martin presents his brilliant reinterpretation for ‘The Music Got Me’.

The original was so good you could hardly imagine any remix making it up to it. Still, the Dirtybird co-founder managed to present some exquisite material, turning it to something more ‘cluby’, full of groove and highly energetic. A legitimate banger that features superb reconstructions and usage of the original elements amid a proper house arrangement.

As one of the most requested remixers of the scene right now, Claptone witnesses one of his biggest hits getting a five-star treatment. The EP also counts with a remix by the german, grammy nominated legend Timo Maas. Out now on Exploited.
