Ever-present Italian tastemaker Lorenzo De Blanck returns to Moon Harbour after appearing on Orbiter VI last year for his latest single ‘The Bump’, while Ben Sterling brings his own fresh perspective on a fine remix.

This mainstay has played the most celebrated clubs around Europe from Sankeys to Amnesia, Movement to Kappa Futur, all while running his own Simple party back home. The lifelong vinyl addict won the Italian Burns Residency in 2017 and has gone on to release on labels such as Deeperfect and Flashmob.

Lead single ‘The Bump’ is a busy, tightly woven tech cut with a knotted bassline that gets you locked. The spooky chord sequence is clipped but evocative, and cheeky rapped vocals are stitched in for extra spice and attitude. The results are pure fire.

UK talent Ben Sterling does anything from Detroit techno to Chicago house, European electro to classic disco, and for that reason has a wide remit of fans. He was a resident at Ministry of Sound aged just 18 and now plays all of the world’s biggest main stages while turning out top tunes on Hot Creations, Edible and Hottrax. His deeper remix is spooky and cinematic, with well crafted synths taking you into the future on a crisp broken beat. It’s heady, underground material for those in the know.

This is a vital two tracker that offers two varied but vital new grooves. You can now listen to the full premiere of Ben Sterling’s remix exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
