Montreal-based fast-rising duo Hicky & Kalo make their debut on Guy Laliberté’s label Wannabe A Frog with a groovy remix for Soul Of Zoo. The young pair have gone on to craft a stellar reputation for their inimitable edge, commitment to the scene, and penchant for deep melodic grooves. Residents of the famous Stereo Montreal club and founders of the budding imprint records label Plaisirs Sonores Records, they are now firmly placed among the vanguard in dictating the current sound of the worldwide’s progressive scene. The duo’s deep melodic sounds have found a home on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Cid Inc’s Replug, When We Dip’s XYZ, and their own Plaisirs Sonores imprint.

Guy Laliberté wears many hats: Founder of Cirque du Soleil, One Drop Foundation, and Lune Rouge, space traveler, nomadic storyteller & community gatherer DJ, music maker, and member of the Frog Collective. As one of the most successful artists and businessmen in the world, the visionary man created his label Wannabe A Frog in 2020.

Soul Of Zoo is the meeting of like-minded artists Ben Eager and Robin Girard. In 2020, they were invited as artists and producers on Guy Laliberté’s private island to participate in the Frog CollectAve organized by Guy Laliberte, surrounded by talented international artists and musicians such as Hans Zimmer’s orchestra. After this incredible experience, they composed and produced in collaboration with The Frog Collective several EPs which have been released in 2021 on Guy Laliberte’s new music label, Wannabe A Frog Records.
