Nacho Varela & Cruz Vittor, the electronic duo from Cordoba, releases a new 4-track EP for Shanti Radio World. It includes three original tracks entitled ‘Alom’, ‘Lovin’ Indie’, and ‘Martyr’ in collaboration with the musician Pablo Piccinni and the young Pinamar-based producer Polo (Ar). The fourth track is a remix for Hipnótica, an indie-pop band from Córdoba, to whom the duo remixed one of their most recognized songs called ‘Fluir’.

The album transits the organic house and deep house genres which contain synths, textures, dance floor-oriented drums and subtle melodies.

Nacho & Cruz says: “Painful day, you are going to rain. In black rivers, you will boil.” The original piece by Pablo Piccinni, on which we based our song ‘Martyr’ upon, narrates the collective sorrow of the Peruvian natives as they discover their leader’s death: Tupac Amaru – turning him into a Martyr. We tried to translate that sorrow and nostalgic feeling, pairing it with a strong power of movement and momentum.”

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Martyr’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
