Lisa May (AUS) is a rising star from down under. As she steps up to the newly formed VOLTA label from Victor Ruiz, The Australian producer brings an EP that explores an array of driving club sounds and showcases her brilliant abilities in the studio, sowing a certain successful future ahead.

Dare I Groove is first up and brings plenty of electric synth energy over slapping beats. It’s peak time. It’s dark. It’s edgy! The atmosphere is carried on with synths and vocals “a la The Prodigy”. The legendary Thomas Schumacher steps up to remix and layers up suspenseful synths over the powerful drums. It’s a tense track that locks you in the groove and places you at the heart of the club with strobes flashing bright. Raw and energetic.

Experiences (with Bass Empire) then strips things back to heavy drums and a pure synth line that develops into a searing surprise when it hits the drop. The unsettling vocals encourages you to follow the track late into the night.

Yada Yada then offers some heavyweight techno swing with nice dry hits and brooding bass. The contrast between beautiful melodies and rough synths is what makes this track so special.
