Firing off a fine-tuned mix of Chicago-flavoured step, patched-up vox and volutes of ethereal escapology laced into one vibey momentum, ‘Pick & Roll’ is bass-fuelled house music tailored for transitional states and seamless fade-out, from no-nonsense boogie moves up onto otherworldly uplift, effortlessly. Shifting gears but not the method, EP highlight ‘Bring It Home’ knocks it out of the park with its stunningly designed assembly of piano-riddled poignancy and crystalline sound design running wild as skittish drums and infectious bass set to heavy-churn mode ensure optimal traction on the dance floor.
