The 51st release of Øddity marks the label debut of in-demand melodic techno titan Olivier Giacomotto. Renowned for high-quality productions allied to a complete dedication to his craft, Olivier has recent releases and remixes on Atlant, Spectrum, Radikon, Einmusika, and his own label Definitive. There’s been a lot of excitement around Olivier lately – on the evidence of these two new stunning tracks, it’s easy to see why.

Leading the way is the title track ‘Empty Space’. Setting an urgent driving 4/4 pace right from the start Olivier displays total understanding of the key elements needed to get the dance floor locked in. Deep pulsating bass and dramatic percussive crashes create a heightened sense of anticipation before a cool fx-ridden vox and a jagged arp attack lead to the momentous breakdown. From here, Olivier cranks the intensity dial up to 11 right through to the end.
