Rico Puestel is an early trained pianist, self-trained guitarist, drummer, musicologist, Zappa enthusiast, neurotic, martyr of art and, most-notably, genuine, perpetually driven producer and performer of electronic music in all its facets, soaked into one highly character-propelled guiding thread throughout it all. DJing from the age of 13, his career has seen different monikers, labels, phases, over 80 vinyl records, singles, EPs, remixes rolled by, and leaves a continuously prospering legacy of expression.

His next release comes on Exhibition via the 3 track ‘Floridica’ EP. Inspired by an old painting he found from his childhood (one of many), he set it to music as he remembered the infantile feelings behind those moments of painting over 30 years ago. While perfectly fitting the label’s idea of presenting exhibitions, this interdisciplinary time travel truly grew into some unique and remarkable music with secrets hidden inside not yet to be revealed.
