London’s ODF has quietly become one of the UK underground’s most adaptable new voices, and his latest move sees him land on one of the scene’s most respected homes. Real name Oliver de Friend, ODF arrives on Enzo Siragusa’s LOCUS for the first time with ‘Hear Dis’, a four-track EP that distils everything that has made him such an exciting prospect into a single, club-focused statement.

ODF has built his reputation on fluid, genre-spanning productions that sit at the meeting point of house, UK garage and bass-driven club music. Following a run of releases on Time Is Now, Hardline Sounds and Method 808, including a standout collaboration alongside Tim Reaper and Special Request, he has shown a real knack for records and sets that prioritise energy, movement and connection. In 2025 he launched his own imprint, On Da Floor, and this debut for LOCUS continues that momentum with another offering rooted firmly in UK club sonics.

The EP wastes no time. Title track ‘Hear Dis’ opens with weighty sub-bass, punchy drums and a relentless, driving rhythm, setting the tone with real authority. ‘To The UK’ nods to classic UK influences, folding swung percussion and bassline pressure into a tightly wound, high-energy groove. On the flip, ‘All Massive’ leans into hazy touches, crisp textures and melodic flourishes for a heads-down trip, before ‘Trojan Horse’ closes the record with more kinetic pressure, lifting the energy one final time for a dynamic, late-night finish.

It is a natural fit for LOCUS, the label launched by Enzo Siragusa and the team behind London’s FUSE. Built around a more upfront house sound and the ethos of ‘by the ravers, for the ravers’, the imprint has become a trusted platform for both established names and rising talent, and ODF’s arrival feels right at home among its growing global community.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Hear Dis’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
