When We Dip: Death on the Balcony unveil Night Time Cove

Some records feel like the last warm evening of the season, and ‘Night Time Cove’ is exactly that. UK duo Death on the Balcony return as DOTB with a sun-soaked slice of deep house designed to close out September in style. Written and produced by Mark Caramelli and Paul Hargreaves, the track arrives as DOTB/005 and is available exclusively through the their Bandcamp.

‘Night Time Cove’ sees the pair put their modern take and touch on a lesser-known classic for the dancefloor. Indian summers, island life, Balearic beauty and hazy sun-drenched moments are all evoked across its warm, unhurried groove, making it the perfect soundtrack for sunset sessions, late terrace hours and those final nights by the sea before autumn fully settles in.

Mark Caramelli and Paul Hargreaves have been causing quite a stir as Death on the Balcony for well over a decade. Their sound drifts effortlessly between disco, house and deeper techno shades, adapting to every room they play, and it has found a home on some of the most respected imprints in the scene, including All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Kindisch, Exploited, Connaisseur Recordings and Sudbeat. Along the way, the duo has taken their sets from London and Leeds to Miami, New York and Berlin.
