Lee Ann Roberts and Giorgia Angiuli join forces for ‘The Portal Is You,’ a powerful new techno release arriving via NOWNOW Records. Blending hypnotic rhythms, driving percussion and immersive atmospheres, the collaboration delivers a peak-time weapon that balances raw intensity with emotional depth.
Inspired by the energy of the Full Moon – a moment traditionally associated with releasing what no longer serves us and setting new intentions for the next cycle – ‘The Portal Is You’ explores the idea that transformation begins from within. This concept is woven throughout the lyrics, which reflect themes of letting go, personal evolution and conscious manifestation, while the music builds relentless momentum through evolving textures, rolling low end and cinematic tension. The result is a track designed to captivate dancefloors while inviting listeners into a deeper sonic experience.
Adding another layer of meaning to the collaboration is the symbolic connection between the two artists. Giorgia Angiuli, a Taurus, and Lee Ann Roberts, a Scorpio, represent opposite signs of the zodiac – often seen as embodying the balance between grounding and transformation, stability and emotional depth. Together, their creative partnership reflects the duality at the heart of the track: two opposing energies coming together to create something greater.
“When a Scorpio meets a Taurus, they create a Full Moon ritual.”
This idea forms the creative narrative surrounding ‘The Portal Is You’ opening the door to visual storytelling, social media content and short-form videos inspired by lunar cycles, intention-setting, ritual and personal transformation. Rather than simply promoting a release, the campaign invites listeners to engage with the track as both a dancefloor experience and a moment of reflection.
As the founder of NOWNOW Records, Lee Ann Roberts continues to push the boundaries of contemporary techno, and together with Giorgia Angiuli delivers a collaboration that is uncompromising, immersive and built for the world’s biggest club systems.
